Re: BCB meetings suspended until further notice
I'd be up for a virtual meeting, be nice to catch up with everyone. But not sure how the sharing beers part would work, which is probably the best bit!

Re: (possibly) crazy idea
I like this idea - would be nice to swap some beers! Not sure how the logistics would work though.simonmwhite wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 7:58 am
As an alternative, how about we all brew each other a few beers for Xmas? Sort of like a secret Santa and we feedback on the forum?
Hope everyone is well by the way!
Cheers,
Rob

Re: Malt Order - Warminster
Hi Peter,
If I'm not too late one bag of Maris Otter whole please.
I also have about 4 kg brown malt whole here which I am never going to get through!
If anyone wants 1, 2 or 3 kg of this, please let me know. Free to a good home!
Cheers,
Rob

Edit... Fridge for (basically) FREE! Perfect for anyone needing to temperature control their fermentation. Happy to swap this for some interesting hops/yeast/malt/beer - what have you got? Please message me or comment if you’re interested. Collection only. It should fit easily into most hatchbacks. ...

Re: maltmiller
I've seen on their facebook page they were struggling to keep up with "panic brewer's" orders.
Just checked and the website seems to be working ok for me.

Re: Water Treatment - Severn Trent
Hi Steve, Thanks for the tips. I've also posted the question in a couple of other places where filtration has also been recommended. I'll probably get a filter at some point in the future. Severn Trent have given me some additional info on the make up of my water (the website doesn't include all the...

Water Treatment - Severn Trent
Hi everyone, Hope everyone is feeling well and not suffering from cabin fever just yet! I think it is time I started using tap water for my brewing. Trips to the shops and bulk buying bottled water isn't really the right thing to do at the moment. Does anybody on here have their water supplied by Se...

Re: BJCP Training Session 1 - Pale Lagers
In light of the Government's most recent advice to avoid pubs, clubs etc. we will not be meeting tonight.
We'll pick this up again in the near future.
I hope everyone stays safe and healthy.

Re: BJCP Training Session 1 - Pale Lagers
I’ve spoken with some others and as it is only a small group of us we should be ok to meet later. This is at your own discretion- if you feel in well or have been to any right risk places then it is probably best to steer clear. Everyone else, I’ll see you later at Ruby Jeans. Prost! Sent from my iP...

Re: BJCP Training Session 1 - Pale Lagers
With the recent Coronavirus developments, I’d like to get people’s opinions on this please. If the general consensus is we shouldn’t meet then I am happy to wait until this all blows over and start the training sessions up in a couple of months/whenever we are all ready. What are people’s thoughts? ...
